Has anyone experienced random encounters with the same Shadow during different time periods throughout your life?

To.be completely honest, I am a bit.skeptical. However,  science cannot explain why the same dark/shadow figure has randomly appeared  (in both peripheral and direct vision) multiple times during my childhood, and more recently, during my adult life. 

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
